Urgent documents · Repeat work · Scheme paperwork · Whole operations

The document’s due. The process is a mess. We fix both.

We fix the urgent document in front of you — the tender, grant, report or policy due this week. And we fix the operations behind it: the templates, guidance, reporting cycles and repeat work that keep breaking. Stronger draft in 72 hours. Problem gone, not patched.

Six slots open this week. No call needed to start.

You stay the author. We do the structure and the heavy lifting.

How it works

STEP ONE

Tell us what's due

Send the tender questions, the grant form, the messy templates — and when it's needed. Five minutes, no call, no commitment.

STEP TWO

We fix it

A strong draft or rebuilt pack, mapped to what you're actually judged on, with the gaps flagged before anyone else finds them.

STEP THREE

You send it, stronger

You finish in your own voice and submit — sharper, more complete, and far faster than starting from a blank page.

02

We don’t just fix the document. We fix what keeps breaking it.

Most teams don’t have a document problem — they have the same problem on repeat. The template nobody updated. The guidance no one reads. The report rebuilt from scratch every time. We fix the urgent thing in front of you, and then, if you want, the flow behind it — so the problem doesn’t come back.

Start with one urgent document — fixed prices, ready now.

Process Health Check

Not sure how big the problem is?

Before you commit to a rebuild, we map the repeat work that keeps breaking, show you what the wasted hours are costing, and tell you straight what to fix first and in what order. A clear diagnosis and a plan, fixed price. If you then go ahead with a rebuild, this fee comes off it.

And when it’s bigger than one document:

Fix the process — so the problem stops coming back.

Fix the process · Full Working Pack Rebuild

When it isn’t one document but the whole way work gets produced — several teams, a pile of templates, an applicant journey, a reporting cycle — we rebuild it as one system you own. You stop firefighting the same problem every month. It’s simply gone. Scoped after a short diagnosis, with a fixed proposal once we’ve seen the shape of it — no figure until we understand the job.

DELIVERABLES CAN INCLUDE

— Full documentation rebuild — Applicant or customer journey — Team workflow pack — Reporting templates — Internal guidance — Client-facing templates — Renewal process — Live staff walkthrough session — Recorded video walkthroughs your team keeps — 30 days of after-care: questions answered — Secure upload & handover process

For any one scheme, Deadline Desk supports either the operator side or the applicant side, not both. That keeps the role clear and avoids conflicts.

The difference, in one answer

BeforeThe rushed answer

"We are a passionate, hardworking organisation committed to delivering excellent outcomes for the local community. We have lots of experience and always go the extra mile for the people we support."

AfterMapped to criteria and your evidence

"Over the last 24 months we delivered 14 financial-education sessions across 6 primary schools, reaching 380 pupils. 92% of teachers rated the sessions 'good' or better, and we provide attendance data, safeguarding sign-off and two case studies as evidence (Appendix B). This directly meets criteria 2.1 (local reach) and 2.3 (measurable outcomes)."

You might need Deadline Desk if…

  • Your team keeps copying old documents.
  • Every report looks different.
  • People ask the same questions every time.
  • The process lives in one person's head.
  • Your guidance is too long, vague or hard to apply.
  • Important work is being rebuilt from scratch.
  • Applicants, clients or staff are confused before they even start.
  • The work is good, but the paperwork makes it look weaker.

Two more ways the repeat work gets fixed

Scoped to you, not bought off the shelf. Tell us what keeps going wrong and we’ll tell you whether it’s a quick fix, a rebuild, or the full process fix above.

Repeat Work Rebuild

“We keep rebuilding the same thing from scratch.”

If your team keeps rebuilding the same thing from scratch — old templates, recurring reports, repeated emails, client documents, internal packs — we turn it into a clear pack they can reuse.

Send the problem →
Scheme Paperwork Rebuild

“Our applicants and assessors keep getting confused.”

For quality marks, standards, accreditations and badge schemes. If applicants keep getting confused, assessors keep writing from scratch, or your criteria mean different things to different people, we rebuild the paperwork around the scheme.

What we don't do

Straight talk, because trust wins repeat work. Deadline Desk makes your draft clearer, stronger and faster to finish. It does not do the things below.

  • We don't guarantee you'll win — we make sure you've answered well and left nothing on the table.
  • We don't submit on your behalf or sign anything as you.
  • We don't replace your judgement — the document goes out in your name and your voice.
  • We don't ask for sensitive personal or client data we don't need.

Security, designed in.

Your documents, while we work on them

Everything comes in through a secure upload link over an encrypted connection to a restricted area — not as loose email attachments. Access is limited to Deadline Desk for the work requested, we only ask for the information the job actually needs, and client files are deleted 90 days after completion unless needed for the work record.

Security baked into every process we build

Every rebuilt workflow ships with its controls written down: named access roles (who can see and edit what), one controlled home for documents, data kept to what the work actually needs, retention rules per document type, and clear red lines on email and AI use. A messy process has no access control at all — a rebuilt one is more secure by construction, and you get the controls in writing.

We design and document the controls; your IT arrangements remain yours, and we never claim any system is beyond compromise. Secure by design. Clear scope. Restricted access. No unnecessary data.

Why you can trust a desk you just found.

Run by someone who has sat where you are

Deadline Desk is run from Staffordshire by someone who has written the bids, filled the funder forms and rebuilt the same report at midnight. The desk works as a faceless brand so the work speaks, not a personal brand. Operator details are on every invoice and on request.

You risk nothing to find out

Send one live document and we tell you, free, what is weak, what is missing and a fixed price to fix it. No charge for that first look, no obligation, and you decide with the assessment in front of you. Payment only comes before work you have agreed to.

Specific and human, not AI-generic

Funders and assessors can spot a generic, AI-written application instantly, and those are the ones that fail. We map every answer to the scoring criteria and to your own evidence, so it reads specific and human. Because it is.

Everything in writing, fixed and fair

Fixed prices before any work. A clear services agreement, privacy notice and confidentiality commitment you can read before you commit. One revision in scope, your IP on payment, plain English throughout. Terms and privacy are public.

A new desk earns trust by being clearer and straighter than the alternative, not by pretending to be older than it is. That is the whole pitch.

Need it moving today?

If your deadline's close, pick a fixed-price route — payment confirms your slot, then you send your materials.

Questions people ask before sending

How fast can you really turn a document around?

A stronger draft comes back within 72 hours of two things being confirmed: the scope and the usable material (the questions or criteria, your current draft or notes, and the evidence you hold). If the deadline is tighter than that, send it anyway and we will tell you straight whether it is doable.

What does it cost?

Fixed prices, shown before you commit: a Rapid Check is £295, a full document rebuild is £1,500, and an AI Safe Team Pack is £2,500. Bigger rebuilds of repeat work, scheme paperwork or whole working packs are scoped after a free first look, then quoted as one fixed figure. No retainers, no hourly billing, no surprises.

Do you guarantee the grant, tender or accreditation?

No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. We improve structure, clarity and evidence so your work is shown at its strongest. The decision always belongs to the funder, buyer or assessor.

Will it still sound like us?

Yes. You stay the author. We structure, sharpen and anchor every claim to evidence, and where a document needs your judgement or reflection, that stays yours. You finish in your own voice.

What happens to our documents?

They come in through a secure upload over an encrypted connection, access is limited to Deadline Desk for the work requested, we only ask for what the job needs, and files are deleted 90 days after completion unless needed for the work record.

What if the real problem is bigger than one document?

That is most of what we do. If your team keeps rebuilding the same reports, templates or packs, we rebuild the flow once into a clear working pack you reuse every cycle. Send the problem and we will tell you whether it needs a quick fix, a rebuild or a full working pack.

Send one document. Get a straight answer today.

Tell us what's due and when. We reply the same day with whether we can take it, a fixed price, and exactly what we need from you. If a draft already exists, send it: the free first look tells you what is weak and what is missing before anyone else sees it.
